There are a number of sites that allow you to create and distribute free basic surveys. SurveyMonkey, for example allows surveys of up to 10 questions with up to 100 respondees. It also allows basic comparing of variables.

For something a bit more sophisticated. Qualtrics is available free to all UM students. This is a robust survey package that is fairly easy to use once you get the hang of the basics. It’s also nicely branded with the U-M logo, so it may appear a bit more “official” for your participants.
